Apparatus from Station Four

1991 Ford F250 4X4
-Brush Truck #480

Brush Truck 480 is used for all your natural cover/grass fires. Wildland firefighting requires unique vehicles that can easily negotiate difficult terrain and high-gradient roads, be self-reliant, and have high clearances for wheels and suspension. Wildland fire engines and wildland fire tenders may have lower capacities to carry water, but can be deployed to fight fires in environments where urban fire apparatus would be unable to operate due to the terrain.
